In June 2020, Joline obtained premarket approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the Joline kyphoplasty products to treat vertebral compression fractures. With FDA approval for the Joline kyphoplasty products, patients in the USA will have access to an alternative to established treatment methods.
In order to secure further growth of the German based medical device manufacturer, Joline acquired its distribution partner Joline Medical LLC and founded their US subsidiary Joline Medical Inc. This is a new milestone for the medium sized company. Prior to the acquisition the distribution of kyphoplasty products was handled by Joline Medical LLC who already paved the way for Joline kyphoplasty products in the USA. The business will now be handed over in order to guarantee a smooth transition. Joline Medical Inc. with its headquarters in Delaware will also open a sales office in Florida to be able to fully cover the US market.
