Joline builds new company building

“We are growing very strongly and urgently need more space,” report the two Joline CEOs Christian Keller and Michael Eisenlohr. Joline has been growing in the number of sales as well as headcounts. It is known for its high-quality and innovative medical devices, for which the demand is rising and therefore the company needs more space. For this reason, the medical device manufacturer based at Neue Rottenburger Strasse 48 and 50 in Hechingen, Germany is building its new company building just a few meters away from its current location.

The new building offers a total of 4,000 m2 of floor space for over 100 employees in order to secure the future growth of the long-established medical technology company. The production and warehouse for the Stents & OEM division will be situated on the first floor with approx. 1,400 m2. With approx. 1,300 m2 the upper floor will house offices and meeting rooms as well as a canteen for the employees. Sustainability naturally also plays an important role in the new Joline building. To name only one example, the roof area is generously and energy-efficiently equipped with a photovoltaic plant.

The building request for the new company building has been submitted and the management of Joline is optimistic that the building permit will be received in October this year. Construction is scheduled to start in November 2024 and the new Joline building is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2026.

The existing buildings “Neue Rottenburger Str. 48 and 50”, including the clean room, will will be retained and continue to be used. The production of the dialysis, kyphoplasty and cardiology products will remain in “Neue Rottenburger Strasse 50”. The company building at number 48 will mainly serve as a warehouse for raw materials.

The clean room at number 50 was already extended and will be partially remodeled this year. A major reconstruction and modernization of the existing buildings is planned for the coming year.
